Association of the Far North Queensland Bowls clubs

The Tropical Far North Bowls Association incorporates 22 Far North Queensland Bowls  Clubs. Stretching from Tully in the south to Thursday Island, a full list of the clubs, their executive, addresses, photographs and telephone numbers will be available on this site soon. Recently the Cairns Bowls Club, the oldest club in the north, amalgamated with Edge Hill Memorial Bowls Club. A vote at a special meeting at Edge Hill voted unanimously to accept the amalgamation. Edge Hill Club is now known as Edge Hill Cairns Memorial Bowls Club. Further information about that in the future. Visiting this Website will enable users to link to Bowls Australia and Queensland Websites, and forms that are required.
The Calendar of Events (2024) and other events that are occurring will be uploaded.  Names of umpires and coaches and their clubs are included. Welcome to the new website and as it is in infancy be patient with the uploading of the content.
